Jason, without any hesitation, grabbed Estelle’s hand and opened the passenger door for her, helping

Yvonne hid her surprise behind her fancy shades. She watched Jason’s car drive away, a mix of excite

ment and joy bubbling up within her. Her heart was pounding uncontrollably. She felt like she had

just stumbled upon Estelle’s big secret!

“Yvonne!”

Yvonne’s assistant came out of the flower shop with a bouquet of lilies: “Got the flowers. Let’s bouncel”

Yvonne got in the car, sitting in the back. She pulled out the photos she had just taken and looked at th

em again, excitement coursing through her veins.

That man’s ride was a Maybach. He looked

loaded and handsome. She was sure, there was something fishy going on between Estelle and him!

She let out a cold laugh. Estelle was really something, snagging herself such a catch!

She looked at the photos. She wanted to send them to Jonathan right away, but then

she thought better of it. She had another idea.

Her chauffeur drove her to the Lamont family’s place.

It was Easter, and the Lamont’s place was bustling with guests, most of them bearing gifts.

Janice Harper led Yvonne to the second floor to chat when she saw her.

Yvonne handed Janice the lilies. These are your favorite,” she said with a gentle

smile. Thad them ordered at the flower shop almost a month ago. They just flew them in today.”

“They’re so fresh!” Janice exclaimed, sniffing the bouquet. “Thank you, Yvonne!”

“You’re welcome!”

After a bit of small talk, Yvonne saw Jonathan coming down from the third floor. Her eyes instinctively f

ollowed his figure.

Janice seemed to understand what was going on. “Jonathan seems to be

heading to the balcony. Why don’t you go chat with him? [1 put these lilies in a vase.”

Yvonne blushed. “Thanks, I’ll head over then.”

Janice smiled gently. “Go ahead”

Yvonne nodded and headed towards the balcony on the second floor

The balcony was at the back of

the house, away from the guests, providing a quiet spot. Jonathan was sitting on a wicker chair, scrollin

g through his phone. He was wearing a light

grey sweater, his legs crossed. His handsome face exuded an air of aloofness and laziness, captivating

yet untouchable.

Yvonne stood behind him for a moment before walking over with a smile. “Jonathan!”

Jonathan looked up. “When did you get here?”

Just a while ago. I was chatting with Janice in the living room.” Yvonne’s smile was bright and

gentle. “I figured you’d be up here slacking off”

Jonathan raised an eyebrow, neither confirming nor denying.

Yvonne switched gears, asking casually, “Why aren’t

you with Estelle? She’s not from J City and couldn’t go home. It’s a family day today. You should keep h

er company so she doesn’t feel lonely”

Jonathan’s voice softened when he heard Yvonne’s natural

concern for Estelle. “She wanted to go shopping by herself, so she didn’t

come over.”

Yvonne’s heart started racing. Just as she thought, Estelle was seeing another man behind Jonathan’s

back!

Jonathan was so into Estelle, and she was fooling around with another guy behind his back! She was s

neaking around, maybe even doing god knows what right now!
