Chapter 93
Chapter 93:
“How long do you want to keep me waiting? Until I die?” Silas resumed pacing the room, his frustration evident.
“You’ve been at this for years, and you still haven’t successfully captured his heart or had him wrapped around your fingers to do your bidding,” he spat.
“I’m sorry. It’s just hard convincing Damon. That bastard only wants me as his mistress. Sometimes I get tired and feel like giving up,” Rosa admitted, her voice filled with exhaustion.
“Don’t even think about throwing away all these years of hard work, or I’ll kill you faster than you can take your next breath,” Silas’s cold voice was a chilling threat, sending shivers down her spine. “Maybe I should remind you why you’re here.”
“You got into this because you had a crush on him. You wanted to become Luna so badly that you killed his pregnant mate. I’m in this for something else. You get to become his mate, and I get what I want. It’s a win-win,” he said sharply.
“But—”
“No buts. You will do as I instructed,” Silas interrupted.
“I know, but what do you want from him? You already know that he is my forever crush, and I’ll do everything within my power to get him.”
“What I want with him is none of your business,” he yelled, his voice causing her to jump involuntarily. Fear gripped her as he looked away, trying to hide the guilt that flickered in his eyes. Despite his failed attempts and plans to kill Damon, the glimmer of hope in his heart grew brighter every day. It was fortunate that Damon didn’t have an heir. Taking over his throne after his death would be easy.
His blood boiled with anger as Rosa’s questions replayed in his mind. Overcome with rage, he fought the urge to kill her.

She was still useful in his twisted schemes.
By the time she reached Luna’s position and succeeded in manipulating Damon, he would strike. He didn’t care that Rosa was his niece—he would do whatever it took to gain more power.
He would take Rosa down first, then Damon, and ascend to the throne as the new Alpha King. But until then, Rosa would live.
Tension hung in the air, the silence stretching uncomfortably between them. Both were lost in thought, each nurturing and planning their next moves.
Rosa let out a sigh of relief, grateful that her meeting with Silas was finally over.
Silas’ dull eyes suddenly sparked with fury as he glared at Rosa, who flinched and instinctively took a step back, fear creeping into her heart.
Reading his body language, Rosa kept her distance, afraid that even the slightest provocation might lead him to pounce on her.
“Why is she still there?” Silas’ cold voice shattered the silence as his angry gaze locked onto her.
A wave of confusion washed over Rosa as she tried to process his words, but her mind went blank.
“She? Who are you referring to, Uncle?” Rosa asked cautiously, carefully choosing her words to avoid angering him.
