Chapter 891

Halfway through his string of curses, Connor was dragged out of the room.

"Connor, calm down. Sorry about that, everyone! Connor had a bit too much to drink and walked into the wrong room."

The group yanked and pulled Connor all the way out of the VIP suite. He glared at them, utterly furious.

"Why the hell did you pull me away? Which one of you just told me I needed to go win her back? Are you out of your minds?"

Connor's blood was boiling. Leonie was being absolutely ridiculous. How long had she even known this guy? Three hours? And she was already kissing him! What if he was a con artist?

Didn't they see the flashy clothes he was wearing? Driving a motorcycle like that— wasn't it obvious he was just out to pick up women?

Any guy working in a club like this couldn't be decent. For all he knew, the guy was just some rich woman's boy toy.

"Connor, it's not that we're criticizing you, but when we first told you to go after her, you flat-out refused. Now that she's kissing someone else, they're practically dating. It's not right for you to crash in and ruin their vibe."

Connor's mood hit rock bottom. He just couldn't understand women. She had been chasing after him so eagerly before, staying by his side in the hospital for over half a month.

And now, she was making out with a guy she hadn't even known for three hours. What goes through a woman's head? Were they really that desperate?

"Can you all just shut up and get the hell out?"

Connor had been halfway home when he spotted Leonie sitting on the back of that guy's motorcycle, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. It made his skin crawl. Was that kind of intimacy really necessary?

He had whipped his car around and followed them all the way to this bar. It was past midnight, and she clearly had no intention of going home.

One woman and two youngsters, the three of them out in the middle of the night— didn't the Everhart family care?

Ddidn't they know how many dangerous people were out there? If anyone realized that the net worth of these three heirs was in the billions of dollars, who knew how many creeps would target them?

While Connor was losing his mind outside, Leonie and Dorian had already broken apart.

Chris watched them with a cool gaze before muttering, "Childish."

Celia's face was flushed, but she looked absolutely thrilled. From the way Connor had just reacted, he was clearly jealous. A man with such a short temper really wasn't suited to be their brother-in-law. Hawthorne was definitely the better husband material, but honestly, Connor and Leonie were a perfect match.

One was brash and outspoken, and the other was an arrogant jerk who desperately needed to be put in his place. A match made in heaven.

Dorian sat next to Leonie, pouring her drinks and keeping her

"Should I pay your companion fee for tonight?"

Leonie asked, half-joking, half-serious.

Dorian had a bit to drink and was feeling a light buzz. Whenever he smiled, the

corners of his lips curled up in an incredibly charming way.

Leonie couldn't help but reach out, brushing a stray strand of hair away from his forehead. Dorian gently caught her hand and lowered it.

"You shouldn't be so physically

affectionate. I don't want people et

getting the wrong idea. Tonight's company is on the house. We'll see about the future." fo

He was a complete gentleman from start to finish. Leonie's impression of him skyrocketed; she didn't look down on him at all for being awaiter or working as a male companion.

The four of them drank until the early hours of the morning, finally having their fill.

Chris suggested they head home, but Leonie's words were slurred.

"I can't go back... I reek of alcohol. My parents will definitely freak out."

Celia chimed in, "Then let's go back to my sister's place."

Chris said softly, "It's so late, wouldn't we wake them up? Gwyneth is pregnant, remember?"

Dorian didn't hesitate for a second. "Why don't you all just crash at my place? My apartment is big enough to fit three extra people."

Before Celia and Chris could even answer, a dizzy Leonie threw her arms around Dorian's neck.

"Sure, let's go to your place. But you can't try anything funny."

Dorian gently peeled her arms off his neck, then simply swept her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style toward the exit.

"The bill is settled. I'll lead the way; you guys follow me in your car."

Celia and Chris had no other choice. They could only follow him out.
