"Okay, I'm sorry...." She pouted making me giggle,

"Okay, smile...." I cooed and she flashed her white teeth,

"Okay, let's go" I swallowed hard stepping out without even waiting for the guards to open the door,

I can't wait any longer to see her, I would surely make plans to rescue her from that bondage in there.

Elena's POV,

I was all alone In the room which was partially dark as the only source of light was from the little window which was slightly opened,

My stomach grumbled and I was really weak, the chains were holding me and each time I see it, I feel my heart shred with deep pain streaking through it,

I can't just believe I am chained right in my father's house when I should be the Luna princess, my mind flashed to Jason and I felt weaker, he might have waited for me in the garden,

Less would he know, he was never going to see me again,

The thought of this made me move my hand vigorously making the clanking of the chain resound through the whole room, I was so enraged fruitlessly trying to loosen it, I end up getting myself injured,

I sat on the bed staring at my legs which was also cuffed with the chain, hot tears fell off freely,

I would keep glancing at the door for the guards who bring food for me, I have not eaten since morning and it is almost evening according to my rough calculation,

I felt like bursting into a loud cry as frustration and anger hit me hard, the hatred is just getting too much, when I thought it was getting better,

Just then, I heard a footstep and my stomach grumbled more loudly and seriously as it begs for the footstep to hasten up, it must be the guard coming with the food, I sighed in relief resting my gaze on the door as I sat silent prayers for the man to run instead of walking,

I kept swallowing lumps in my throat, after what seemed like a year for me, the knob of the door went down and the door made a creaky sound, I shut my eyes and took a deep sigh getting myself ready to eat,

A little smile forced itself out, slowly I opened my eyes to take the door which must have been dropped for me only to see what made me cringe in great shock and surprise,

Standing in front of me was someone I never expected to see, I scrubbed my eyes continuously and pinched myself to be sure it wasn't a dream or an illusion.

Jason was standing in front of me with those green pair of eyes.

"Hey Elena stop looking at my mate that way!!!" the voice of Scarlett huffed in making me flinch back to reality,

I didn't even recognize her presence all this while,

"Wait, is this Jason?" I asked peering into his face with a bright smile

My whole body has goosebump now, I couldn't help myself as I jumped up

rushing to him with a tight hug not minding Scarlett who was standing beside him,

"Guards, push this demon away from him!!!" Scarlett ordered and they pushed me off him hardly that my head hit on the wall beside the bed,

I groaned and glanced at Jason only to see him standing still but his face grimaced a bit,

I sat up and held my head which was pounding already,

"Elena, your magic has wadded off, he hates you so much now, can't you see us holding hands??...can't you see he came with me from school???...his eyes are opened and he has got himself, go to hell with your evil magic to get a mate which isn't yours!!!" Scarlett yelled with pure hatred and disgust in her eyes,

"Jason, we both know she is lying!" I said smiling at him,

"Elena or whatever you are called, I'm here to punish you myself for tampering with my life, how dare you use those petty tricks on me!!!" Jason howled with an angry look leaving me stunned while Scarlett laughed scornfully at me...

"Are you saying that to me??...you believe those foolish words she just spitted?" I questioned with a raised brow while he scoffed.

"She is my future mate, don't call her word foolish!!!...well, I'll teach you a lesson today!!" he growled and turned to Scarlett,

"Can you leave the room for just the both of us, you might get hurt mistakenly" he cooed at her with a sweet smile that made me burn In jealousy,

"Oh, really??... but I want to see her cry in pain" she whined,

Jason's POV

I turned to Elena and saw tears in her eyes already, she was staring at me sadly, I could read her mind, she thought I was serious and was so pained,

I quickly mind linked with her but she already blocked it thinking I was doing all this for real,

"Please let me stay and watch, I want to see her in pain and laugh her to scorn" Scarlett pressed on and I got more enraged,

"Hey, you all should get the hell out of here!!!" I yelled at the guards who bowed and left immediately,

"Scarlett please go out" I forced myself to be all calm but she insisted,

Just then, to my surprise, she fell asleep instantly falling on my arms, I arched my brow and turned to Elena, her eyes were blueish this time and was glistening with flickering light,
