“Even though I’ll be living on campus, I can still come back on weekends. Dad, if you ever need me for anything, just let me know, and I’ll come home,” Fernanda offered, trying to ease the situation.

With Fernanda’s reassurance, Robert couldn’t bring himself to object anymore. He was still a little hesitant, but he reluctantly agreed to let her go.

After dinner was over, Fernanda made her exit from the house.
