Chapter 205
Chapter 205:
Bonita nodded enthusiastically. “Absolutely!”
She felt a weight lift from her shoulders after sharing her worries with Fernanda.
However, Fernanda cautioned her, “Be thoughtful about this. Chasing after Neal means you’ll have to handle Beckett, and he’s quite the obstacle.”
Beckett was like a ticking time bomb, a constant threat that could explode at any moment.
“Also,” Fernanda added, recalling another detail. “Neal isn’t aware that you’re Cutie, right?”
“No,” Bonita’s cheeks turned pink. “I’m not good at the game. If he discovers it’s me, he might link my clumsy online persona to the real me. I’m scared he’ll reject that.”
Fernanda exhaled gently, admiring the effort Bonita invested in keeping their connection alive.
After bidding farewell to Bonita, Fernanda made her way back to her dorm. It seemed Wendy was out, likely tending bar again.
Fernanda admired Wendy’s stamina. She managed her coursework by day, served at the bar by night, and somehow made it back for morning classes. How did she manage without rest?
Was Wendy some kind of machine, tirelessly enduring her schedule?
That evening, Wendy didn’t come back, so Fernanda had the dorm room to herself. The following morning, she engaged in her routine financial check, trading stocks and managing her investments.
Several of her stocks were outperforming, notably those in Ross Group. With dividend day nearing for Ross Group, Fernanda anticipated a hefty payout from her one percent ownership.
She was quite content with this arrangement.
The subsequent days for Fernanda were leisurely. She spent her days reading, painting, or dining with Sloane and Bonita. Evenings were reserved for gaming in her dorm, which she found immensely enjoyable.
Free from the troubles of the Morgan family and other nuisances, Fernanda relished her pleasant life.

Half a month swiftly went by. Tonight, the eagerly awaited welcome party was set to take place.
Esaham University, unlike other institutions where departments hosted separate events, celebrated with a university-wide welcome party. Every department would send representatives to showcase their talents.
Levi was tasked with coordinating the performances. These events often stressed him out.
Seeking to improve the Esports Academy’s reputation, Levi approached Fernanda for some creative input.
“A performance?” Fernanda questioned, her brow creasing. “What kind are you considering?”
“We’re not sure yet, which is why I’m here asking for your thoughts,” Levi responded, looking at her with hope. “Any suggestions?”
“I wish I could help,” Fernanda replied, smiling apologetically. “But I’m not well-versed in these things.”
