Chapter 346
Chapter 346:
Mayson had always held a genuine fondness for Erika, so he took her request to heart. After returning home, he immediately sought out his eldest brother, Vinson Turner.
Mayson had two older brothers, making him the third and youngest. His eldest brother, Vinson, was deeply involved in the family business and held considerable sway with their parents. His second brother, Winslow Turner, was an artist studying abroad, a free spirit who seemed unlikely to join the family enterprise like Vinson.
Since Winslow was often away, Vinson had been the one closer to Mayson. Vinson was always nice to Mayson, and Mayson felt confident that Vinson would never turn down a request from him.
At thirty years old, Vinson had a strong, commanding presence, thanks to his time in the military. His tall, athletic frame and rugged features—sun-kissed skin, sharp jawline, and deep-set eyes—only added to the image of a man who exuded strength and confidence.
When Mayson found him, Vinson was emerging from the home gym, sweat trickling down his bronzed skin as he wiped his forehead with a damp towel. His tank top was discarded, revealing his well-toned chest.
Mayson couldn’t help but admire him, a twinge of envy stirring in his chest. Every time he saw his brother’s muscular build, he felt a pang of longing. He wished he could have that kind of physique but knew it was out of reach for someone like him—too skinny and lacking the discipline for such demanding workouts.
Vinson glanced at Mayson and immediately sensed something was on his mind. With a casual toss of the towel over his shoulder, he took a long swig of mineral water and asked, “What’s going on?”
Mayson stepped closer, his words flowing freely as he laid out the situation. He left out the part where Erika had specifically asked him to handle it, wanting to protect her involvement.
“Voligny Company?” Vinson’s brow furrowed slightly. “The Morgan family’s?”
“Yes,” Mayson nodded eagerly.
“You want me to collaborate with them as well?” Vinson raised an eyebrow.

“Yeah,” Mayson answered, then hesitated. “Wait… Why did you say ‘as well’? Has someone else brought this up already?”
Vinson waved it off with a casual shrug. “Oh, nothing. Alright, I’ll keep it in mind.”
“That’s great!” Mayson’s excitement surged. “You’re really going to do it?”
“Sure, it’s not a big deal,” Vinson said. Then, a little curiously, he continued, “You never gave the family business much thought. What’s causing the sudden interest?”
Mayson scratched his head, an awkward smile tugging at his lips. “Well, it’s our family, after all. As a member, I should care a little, don’t you think?”
Vinson gave Mayson’s shoulder a firm pat, a silent approval passing between them as he saw his younger brother was finally starting to grow up.
“Alright, off you go. I won’t keep you,” Mayson said, already moving to share the good news with Erika. He had finished her request quicker than he’d expected!
Just as Mayson was about to walk out, Vinson suddenly remembered something. “Next Sunday is our sister’s birthday. Are you planning to visit her?”
Mayson froze in place. The smile that had been lighting up his face vanished as quickly as it had appeared.
