Chapter 451
Chapter 451:
His features were the type one would never forget after a single glance. When Fernanda finished explaining herself, Cristian let out a gentle, amused chuckle.
The sound was rich and soothing, his chest rising and falling with each laugh. It was only then that Fernanda realized she had been lying on top of him all this time.
Startled, Fernanda quickly sat up, but before she could move away, Cristian’s hand pulled her back down.
His grip was unyielding, a firm hold on her lower back that left her no room to escape.
With a mischievous grin, he lightly tapped her nose with his other hand.
“Imagine if I looked completely different when I was younger,” Cristian said. “What if you saw me back then and just forgot about it?”
“That’s not very likely,” Fernanda responded without hesitation. She believed that no matter how much a person changed over time, certain traces of their childhood would always remain.
“Why are you so fixated on this topic?” Fernanda asked, her delicate brows knitting together in confusion. “Even if we did cross paths before, so what?”
In the end, it was all part of the past, something that no longer had any real significance.
“I just…” Cristian tapped his nose thoughtfully. “I wanted to show that there’s something unique between us.”
“I believe we already share something special,” Fernanda replied, gently tapping his hand to signal him to let her go. After a moment, she added, “A bond written in fate.”
Fernanda’s words seemed to strike a chord with Cristian, and he burst into laughter, his joy even brighter than before.
“A bond written in fate? I can go with that,” he chuckled as he spoke.
“Fateful bonds are tangled, unbreakable. If that’s the case, then I’m all in,” he added with a grin.

Fernanda shot him a resigned glance as she made her way to the kitchen. She couldn’t help but think that his way of seeing things was certainly different from most people’s.
At the stove, she scooped the spaghetti onto a plate. Nearby, stewing in another pot, were tender, aromatic pork ribs that filled the air with their mouth-watering scent.
Fernanda placed the dishes carefully on the table, setting them down with a gentle clink.
By the time she finished, Cristian was already sitting up, his shirt slightly wrinkled, but still neatly tucked into his pants, a black belt cinching his waist.
It was then that Fernanda noticed something she hadn’t before—his waist was surprisingly slender.
Her mind drifted back to the firm muscles of his chest and abs she had felt earlier when she had fallen on top of him. This man’s physique was far better than she had ever imagined.
Cristian caught Fernanda’s gaze lingering on his torso and looked down at his shirt, noticing it had come undone slightly, exposing glimpses of his skin.
