Chapter 763
Chapter 763:
Beckett’s scoff echoed through the room. “What trouble are you talking about?”
Unshaken, Fernanda’s smile only deepened. “Today’s news—you were behind that leak, weren’t you? Spilling the details about his family, his father… That was your way of going after him, trying to tear him down, wasn’t it?”
Beckett’s expression shifted. The realization hit him: they had uncovered the truth faster than he had anticipated.
A hint of resignation flickered in his gaze, but he refused to back down. “So what?” he spat, unfazed. “I didn’t make anything up. What I exposed is the truth, it’s all fact! If Neal’s got a problem with it, let him prove me wrong!”
He wasn’t fabricating rumors—he was merely revealing what Neal had worked tirelessly to keep hidden.
Beckett’s appearance was wild, his usual composure slipping as his emotions seemed to consume him.
Fernanda’s mind clicked into place as she observed him more closely. This Beckett? A man teetering on the edge of madness.
His obsession with Bonita had already led him to torment Neal once, and now, he was bent on destroying Neal’s reputation just to keep Bonita from even looking his way.
The sheer extremity of his actions left Fernanda with a chilling certainty—if they didn’t intervene now, the chaos he could cause in the future would be unimaginable.
As these thoughts swirled in Fernanda’s mind, an idea suddenly clicked into place.
With a composed demeanor, Fernanda showed no sign of worry for Neal, her calmness betraying the seriousness of the situation.
A faint, knowing smile tugged at her lips. “You know, there’s no need for me to prove anything. Time has a way of solving these things. Soon enough, people will move on and forget.”
Beckett scoffed at her words, his sneer dripping with disdain.

His goal was singular: to ensure Bonita hated Neal and never crossed paths with him again, and he was willing to go to any lengths to make that happen.
“Now that you’ve admitted it, there’s nothing more to discuss,” Fernanda said, standing up from the couch. Her voice was cool and composed. “I doubt you can sleep soundly with that guilty conscience of yours.”
Beckett’s lip curled, a sneer spreading across his face. Why would he feel guilty for doing the right thing? It seemed Fernanda was trying to invoke his guilt, but it was a futile attempt.
After stepping out of Beckett’s place, Fernanda leaned in, her words gentle as she whispered to Cristian.
“Sounds like it can be done,” Cristian replied with a subtle nod.
“Good.” A glint of satisfaction flashed in Fernanda’s eyes as she stood at the door of Beckett’s apartment. “This guy… he won’t get away with it. If we let him slide now, he’ll only escalate things.”
“He’s far too extreme. People like him are dangerous,” Cristian said, his tone grim. “If he has mental issues, he belongs somewhere where he can’t harm anyone else.”
After Fernanda and Cristian had left, Beckett’s fury erupted in the room. In a fit of rage, he sent everything flying off the table.
