Chapter 861:

“Hey, jerks, how about you put your money where your mouth is and come at us if you’ve got the guts?” Neal said.

“Shit, it’s Neal. Andrew, it’s Neal Irons!” someone exclaimed.

“I don’t care who he is!” Andrew snapped, still clutching his wrist. “I’ll make sure they pay for meddling!” The pain in his wrist was blinding, causing him to lash out.

“You don’t seem to understand, Andrew. It’s Neal, the captain of the championship team. The one from Esaham University!”

Andrew paused and took a good look at Neal. He immediately recognized him. The group, being avid gamers, all knew Neal. They were all surprised to see him in person.

“Yes, it’s me. You said we wouldn’t leave this room unharmed. Well, we’re waiting. Get to it,” Neal said.

He was a well-known figure online and had powerful people backing him, which made him a formidable presence. The group’s morale instantly deflated, and they began to back away.

“Hey, you can’t just bully someone and walk away,” Neal said, stopping them.

Andrew turned to Fernanda again, a flash of memory crossing his mind. He had seen her before at Zero Degree! She had been with Leon, who was showering her with admiration.

Andrew knew Leon was not someone to be trifled with.

At this thought, the blood seemed to drain from his face.

Fernanda, however, paid him no heed. Instead, she turned to Ritchie and asked, “What business do you have with them?”

Ritchie attempted to wipe the paint off his cloth, then shook his head.

For crying out loud, he had been targeted and bullied for no reason.

He had reported to the school authorities, and they had given a few half-hearted warnings to the bullies, but things had only gotten worse. He was just a victim who didn’t even know why he was being targeted.

Maybe it was because he was poor. They had once told him he looked terrible and ordered him to stay out of sight.

However, these guys had constantly sought him out.

It was clear his pain gave them a sort of twisted pleasure.

Fernanda could, from Ritchie’s expression, understand what had happened. She could see the look of resignation that victims of bullying usually had on Ritchie’s face.

Being an art student was often expensive, and many of the students were from wealthy families.

Someone like Ritchie, who looked plain, was always an easy target.

Without saying a word, Fernanda slapped each of the bullies across the face. The men, not expecting her to do something like that, stood there in a daze. Their cheeks all stung from her slaps.

“Apologize, or I’ll make sure you get a beating,” Fernanda said, cracking her knuckles.

Her body language was that of a person who knew how to handle herself in a fight. This terrified the bullies, and they all turned to Andrew, their faces silently asking for help.
