Chapter 953
Chapter 953:
Fernanda’s tone was cold as she addressed him. “Robert Morgan, I have a solution for you. Gather your family and leave this house. Confess your actions publicly and resign from Voligny Company.” As she met Robert’s disbelieving gaze, she offered a small smile. “Choose now.”
“You’re damning me to hell!” Robert shouted back, his face contorted with anger. “Was all this really necessary over such a trivial issue?”
“Absolutely necessary,” Fernanda replied coolly.
Fernanda responded, her smile firm. “Let me clarify something. Two years ago, you were able to track me down because I had secretly tipped you off. My return wasn’t to honor my supposed engagement to Bobby. It was to exact vengeance.”
Robert’s behavior since her arrival continually tested the limits of propriety, strengthening her resolve to take revenge against him. “The moment you condoned Michelle’s decision to send me away, you ceased being a father to me.” Fernanda sneered.
Robert stood frozen, then the full implication of her words dawned on him.
A shiver of realization coursed through him, causing him to shudder violently.
She even knew about that secret!
Seeing Ector bewildered by the conversation, Fernanda explained, “I wasn’t lost. It was orchestrated by Michelle with Robert’s consent. While you lived comfortably, I was essentially sold in a distant village, enduring daily hardships.”
Her delivery was nonchalant, yet Ector was stunned and struggled to believe her words.
It became evident that Fernanda’s disappearance was not a mere accident.
“Very well,” Fernanda replied, checking the time. “You have ten minutes to depart. Remain beyond that, and I’ll ensure you are escorted out. Robert, it would be wise not to cause a scene.”
Fernanda’s ultimatum made one thing clear to Robert: she was done with them.

A wave of rage surged through Robert, so fierce it clouded his mind. Blood pounded in his head, drowning out all logic.
Without thinking, he snatched the teacup from the coffee table and hurled it at Fernanda. Cristian moved instantly, yanking her into his arms. The cup missed by inches, shattering against the wall behind them.
Robert’s fury only deepened. With a violent shove, he flipped the coffee table, sending teaware and plates crashing to the floor. The sharp crack of splitting marble echoed through the room.
On the staircase, Erika screamed, hands flying to her head as chaos erupted below.
Hearing the commotion, Michelle and Selma rushed downstairs, their footsteps hurried, their voices frantic as they demanded answers. The scene before them was tense and unyielding—Cristian stood face-to-face with Robert, a stark contrast to the chaos around them. He was half a head taller, his broad shoulders squared, radiating quiet dominance. The sheer weight of his presence made him seem even more formidable. His dark eyes, sharp and unwavering, pinned Robert in place, exuding an authority that was impossible to ignore.
