Chapter 1025 Three Years or So

Claude, on the verge of tears, could only nod and reply, “Sure.”

Martha’sniffed and said no more as she followed the court bailiffs.

“Mom…”

Behind her, her daughter’s heart–wrenching cries could still be heard, but Martha did not look back. It would only make it hard for her to leave with the bailiff.

Martha turned her head to the other side, closed her eyes and held back the tears.

Angela froze there, her gaze followed as her mother left with the bailiffs sadly. Tears once again poured down. It was all Gloria White’s fault!

All because of this bi*ch!

Gloria was not in a hurry to leave. She just stood there and watched. Nydia and the others had walked over to her. Nydia asked eagerly, “Gloria, what now?”

Gloria tore her gaze from Marsha and said, “Let’s get out of here.”

Nydia nodded, but said nothing after all.

Gloria cast Claude a look. His guilty and regretful look amused her somehow.

Without saying anything else to Claude or Angela or sparing another look at them, she walked straight out of the court, followed by Nydia and the others.

Claude walked over to Angela and saw that her eyes were both red and swollen. He sighed and took his daughter into his arms. “Angela, let’s go home.”

“Home…?” echoed Angela sadly and rhetorically. Without her mother, where was home?

Although her father was still there, she felt devastated and had no idea what to do.

“Go home,” Claude sighed again and repeated.

Angela sniffed and followed behind Claude silently.

All the way, she felt so irritated. As soon as she set foot on the threshold of her home, she could no longer contain herself. She cursed,

“Gloria White! Sooner or later, I’m gonna kill her myself! I want her to beg for her death!”

When Claude heard Gloria’s name, he gnashed his teeth and said, “Yes, sooner or later! We will kill this bi*ch!!”

Angela felt somewhat exhausted suddenly and could no longer join her father in the cursing. Tears

fell down uncontrollably at the thought of her mother’s condition, and she paused for a moment before she looked up at her father.

“Dad, when exactly could mother come out? Have you studied it before, and what did the lawyers say about it?”

Claude’s eyes glowed. “In this case, it might be three years or so.”

Angela remained silent and clenched her fists, her tears still falling.

On the other side,

Gloria and the others were already in the car. Gloria was driving today.

Bryson was taking the passenger seat, Nydia and Jennifer in the back. Irene had other things to attend to, so he left earlier.

Bryson volunteered to take the passenger seat. Personally speaking, he preferred to stay closer to Gloria and keep her distance from Jennifer.

Bryson turned to look at Gloria, who had remained silent all the way, and said softly, “Gloria, although we might have a favorable turn for them but she cannot get away with it. We need to figure out a way.”

Nydia gritted her teeth and simmered with anger. “Anyway, where did she get all those charity notes!!!”
