Gloria looked up at Angela with a sarcastic smile and asked, “Do you think I heard it?”

Angela widened her eyes. She was not shocked but was so angry that she couldn’t speak.

Gloria was not deaf, so she must have heard it. Angela had said so to blame her, and she had not expected her to be so thick–skinned. How could the b*tch have the nerve to ask back?

Claude pressed the button to summon the waiter while speaking.

“Whatever. I’m not in the mood of ordering food.”

Claude’s smile froze on his lips, and anger was burning in his chest. He hoped he could kick George out right away. But he didn’t dare, so he could only endure it. Taking a deep breath, he smiled and nodded, “Okay. I’ll order the dishes. Everyone, you need me you avoid any food?”

Although no one cared about the food of this meal, it must as least look good.

Irene first responded with a smile, “Everything is OK for me.”

Angela and Martha remained silent, while Gloria, Nydia, and George turned a deaf ear to his words, showing no respect at all.
