They dared to call the apple of his eye a thief. Did they have a death wish?

After hearing Donovan’s promise, Judie finally smiled with satisfaction, though she kept a complaining tone. “Dad, don’t just say it! Clive’s attitude today practically killed me!”

Donovan laughed helplessly. “When has Dad ever lied to you? Once I finish this meeting, I’ll have my secretary contact Glitz Entertainment to terminate all cooperation immediately.”

He paused, then added, “Additionally, I’ll have the legal department file a lawsuit against Clive’s sister for defamation. Is that good enough?”

Judie’s eyes lit up, but she maintained her reserve with a playful huff. “That’s more like it!”

Donovan said affectionately, “Alright, stop fuming. It’s just a concert; if you don’t want to listen, then don’t. How about this? I’ll transfer some money to you. Go shopping with your friends for a while, and come home a bit early tonight. What do you want for dinner? I’ll have the chef prepare it for you.”

With Donovan’s combination of comforting gestures, Judie’s anger dissipated completely. She knew her father well; he was extremely protective. Since he said it, he would do it. She was just waiting to see Tamara and the others become a laughingstock.

Her goal achieved, Judie thanked him sweetly over the phone. “Thanks, Dad. I’ll leave the rest to you! I’ll go shopping with my friends now. I want lobster for dinner!”

With that, Judie hung up. She waved her phone triumphantly at Yvonne and Leilani, raising an eyebrow. “Done!”

Seeing Judie’s smug look, Leilani shook her head helplessly but didn’t say much.

Beside them, Yvonne looked at Judie with envy, feeling an indescribable sense of loss. “Judie, your dad really spoils you.”

Hearing that his daughter was bullied, he immediately and decisively stood up for her. Remembering Fitch’s behavior at the wedding, Yvonne felt envious.

Judie hadn’t attended the wedding, so she didn’t know about Yvonne’s despondency. She grinned, linking arms with Leilani, and said proudly, “Of course! He’s my dad, and I’m his darling daughter! If he doesn’t stick up for me, who will?”

Judie looked up at Leilani and winked, her tone mischievous. “Just wait and see. With my dad involved, Clive and his crew are going to lose a layer of skin even if they survive this!”

The neon lights outside the car window reflected on Judie’s exquisite face, making the sharp glint in her eyes even more piercing. At this moment, she looked more like the heiress of a prestigious family, quite different from the warm, sunny image she projected when hanging out with Leilani privately.

After all, Judie had been raised by a top-tier family. Although she was usually easygoing, once someone truly provoked her, it wasn’t easy to just smooth things over.

Meanwhile, in Clive’s backstage dressing room, the atmosphere was heavy.

Clive sat before the vanity mirror, his face gloomy. Luke stood beside him, hesitating to speak.

Clive frowned at Mr. Watson, arguing back. “Impossible! I didn’t offend them!”

Mr. Watson, enraged by Clive’s arrogance, let out a cold laugh and threw his phone directly in front of him.
