Before long, the group was ready, and several cars departed from the campus, engines humming softly as they navigated toward their destination.

As the last of the cars turned the corner, a solitary figure emerged from the shadows.

Phillip watched the departing convoy with a resentful gaze. Once he was sure they were far enough away, he slipped into his car and began to follow them at a safe distance.

His smile was sinister, and his voice carried a chilling tone as he murmured to himself, “Ashton! Today you’ll learn what happens when you cross me. I’ll reclaim all the glory I’ve lost because of you!”

Nestled on the southern fringes of Inewood, the destination for the camping trip was a secluded gem that Wade had discovered while on an outdoor sketching assignment.

Wade described the area as a pristine haven, untouched by development. With its breathtaking landscapes and minimal human presence, it promised to be the perfect setting for a brief escape into nature.

Led by Wade, the group swiftly reached the remote campsite.

As they stepped out of their vehicles, the stunning vistas that Wade had so lavishly praised were indeed a sight to behold. The group was instantly captivated by the natural beauty surrounding them.

However, the peaceful setting was soon disrupted by a noisy assembly of burly men nearby, indulging in a loud feast of meat and alcohol.

Liam had been particularly irritable lately.

His recent clash with Isaac on a serpentine mountain road had ended badly, with Isaac’s ally giving Liam a thorough thrashing that left him confined to bed for weeks.

Much to his dismay, he found himself not at a swanky venue but at this isolated campsite.

Feeling utterly disillusioned, Liam lost all interest in the outdoor adventure.

He was on the verge of departing the disappointing scene with a yawn when he spotted several cars arriving. Out poured a lively group of young students, their energy briefly catching his attention.

In the mix was a group of attractive female college students.

Upon seeing them, Liam’s weariness evaporated in an instant. He couldn’t believe his luck at finding such a delightful surprise in such an unexpected place.

With a confident snap of his fingers, Liam signaled his men to extend an invitation to the charming young women, hoping they would join him.

As the students emerged from their vehicles, they couldn’t help but notice the formidable group nearby. A sense of unease washed over them, their instincts warning them of potential danger.
