Chapter 235
Chapter 235:
But despite the palpable tension and the aggressive stance of his opponents, Ashton remained remarkably composed.
He glanced at Rosalie, noticing the subtle frown of displeasure on her face, and let out a soft chuckle. “Rosalie, why don’t you call your restaurant’s security? We can’t have flies buzzing around us while we’re trying to enjoy our meal.”
Rosalie’s eyes twinkled with amusement as she quickly dialed the restaurant manager on her phone.
She couldn’t resist teasing Ashton, her voice light and playful. “I didn’t expect you to remember this restaurant belongs to our Campbell family.”
Ashton nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. “How could I forget? This is where we had our first meal together.”
Jacoby was momentarily taken aback, not by their casual flirting, but by the mention of the Campbell family’s property.
For reasons he couldn’t quite pinpoint, an ominous premonition began to creep up Jacoby’s spine.
His confidence faltered as he quickly asked, “Wait, did you say this is the Campbell family’s property? Which Campbell family?”
Ashton raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes. “The one you’re thinking of,” he replied casually.
Jacoby’s heart plummeted. If the restaurant truly belonged to the Campbell family, then the stunning woman seated across from Ashton could only be the legendary Rosalie Campbell herself.
But Ashton wasn’t finished. He leaned back in his chair, a knowing smile playing on his lips. “Oh, and just so you’re aware, we’re currently filming a promotional video for this restaurant. Right now, several media outlets have their cameras focused on you. I gave you a fair warning earlier, but it seems you didn’t take it seriously. Now the entire city will see just how majestic the young heir of the Sup Group really is!”
Jacoby’s heart skipped a beat. He whipped around, only to find several camera lenses trained directly on him, capturing every moment of his reckless bravado.

Although Jacoby was widely known as a spoiled playboy, notorious for his lack of both learning and practical ability, he wasn’t entirely devoid of wits.
By now, he had begun to piece together the situation. No wonder Ashton appeared so unruffled—why hadn’t a single staff member in the shop intervened as he made his scene?
It dawned on Jacoby that he had walked right into Ashton’s trap.
The media personnel, who had been lurking in the shadows, noticed Jacoby’s realization and saw no reason to remain hidden. They emerged from their corners, cameras snapping away, capturing every moment of his downfall.
After all, the Sup Group had been the talk of Inewood recently, and exposing the arrogant behavior of its young heir was bound to generate massive buzz.
Meanwhile, Rosalie, having made a quick phone call, orchestrated the arrival of security personnel dressed in full riot gear. They entered the restaurant with a commanding presence, ready to act.
At this point, even if Jacoby was slower on the uptake, he realized it was not the time to continue making a scene. His face turned ashen; he hadn’t anticipated Ashton to be so prepared, so cunning.
