Confident in his skills, Zeke agreed without hesitation to Jacoby’s request to tarnish Ashton’s reputation.

Once the call ended, Zeke immediately set to work, utilizing his specialized channels to dig into Ashton’s history with the aim of concocting further stories. However, his efforts soon revealed that the situation was far more complicated than he had initially believed.

Despite the strength of his exclusive connections, Zeke struggled to unearth substantial information about Ashton.

The only fact he could establish was that Ashton had made a sudden and mysterious appearance in Inewood around two years ago.

Everything before that was shrouded in complete obscurity, as if Ashton had emerged from nowhere in those two years, his prior existence virtually erased. What Zeke did not know was that Ashton’s past had been deliberately kept under wraps by the Baldwin family.

The second document contained an audio recording of a conversation between Jacoby and Zeke, revealing Jacoby’s plan to leverage Zeke’s services to completely undermine Ashton’s reputation.

After examining the two documents, Ashton’s lips curled into a satisfied smile as he remarked, “Roger, could you provide me with Zeke’s contact details, including his address and phone number? I would like to arrange a personal meeting with him.”

On the other end of the line, Roger promptly responded, “Mr. Baldwin, if you decide you want to handle him, just let me know. With your directive, I can ensure he vanishes without a trace!”

Ashton turned down the offer, saying, “Who said I wanted to eliminate him? Sometimes, keeping an enemy alive can be more advantageous than their demise. I plan to use him to challenge Jacoby and reveal the larger conspiracy behind him.”
