Chapter 458
Chapter 458:
Zeke answered the call quickly, his voice respectful as he laughed. “I heard about the debacle in Staville. I was about to offer my help, though I wasn’t sure if you needed it.”
“Let’s dive right in. Do you have any media connections in Staville?” Ashton got straight to the point.
“Definitely!” Zeke responded enthusiastically. “I’m acquainted with a program director at the Staville TV station. I also have some interesting information about Kirsten.”
As Zeke finished speaking, Ashton received an email alert on his phone. He read the email, and a sly grin spread across his face.
“Just like I figured, Zeke, you’re always full of surprises!”
“That’s right! I have a knack for this kind of work,” Zeke boasted proudly.
Ashton then said, “But we might need to be a bit more forceful. I’ve come up with a new plan. Connect me with that TV director. If Kirsten thinks she can play games with me, I won’t make it easy for her. It’s time to expose her true colors!”
Zeke, who knew plenty of secrets about Kirsten, laughed at the idea of her being a “pure girl.” He was more than happy to help Ashton and quickly agreed.
Three days later, as the public continued to criticize Skyline Group, Kirsten was taken by surprise with an invitation to a variety show at the Staville TV station. Seeing this as a perfect chance to enhance her image, she eagerly accepted the invitation.
The station was well aware of her penchant for theatrics. They went out of their way to impress her, sending luxurious cars for her transport and employing numerous bodyguards to clear her way, making quite a show of it.
When she arrived, feeling important and expecting to be treated like royalty, she was immediately surprised the moment she stepped out of the car. There, unexpectedly, was Ashton at the station as well.
It could be said that Ashton’s appearance was a real eye-catcher, so much so that Kirsten easily spotted him even in such a crowded and chaotic situation.

However, Ashton didn’t seem to notice Kirsten’s presence. Clutching a file folder, he lined up to enter the TV station. He didn’t even glance in her direction.
He must be here to discuss cooperation with the TV station. Did he want a TV commercial for his company? Despite her gentle and elegant appearance, Kirsten was sneering deep inside. Although she had succeeded in damaging Ashton’s reputation, it still wasn’t enough for her.
So, she decided to make trouble for Ashton today. She quietly walked toward the line where Ashton stood.
When her bodyguards saw this, they quickly moved ahead of her and rudely pushed the fans who were trying to get close, clearing the way for her.
Kirsten already had a plan in mind. Once she was close to Ashton, her bodyguards would push him aside, overwhelming him before he had a chance to react. She would teach him the lesson she believed he deserved.
The fans were eager to get close to their idol, so they didn’t complain when the bodyguards shoved them. They silently endured it, even when some were hurt by the increasingly arrogant and rough bodyguards.
