After saying this, Ashton called the guards in to escort Jacoby and Beal to different interrogation rooms without waiting for them to agree.

Beal sat on a chair in the interrogation room, gritting his teeth and breathing heavily, the harsh light above casting sharp shadows on his face. Every second in this place was torture for him.

He had thought Ashton’s conflict with Sup Group was purely business-related. He never suspected that Ashton’s real target was the Dark Night Organization.

It was only then that Beal realized the reason why their plans always fell apart whenever Ashton was involved. It turned out that Ashton was connected with the police.

Beal couldn’t help but feel uneasy at the thought of this.

While he was taken out of the cell, he had cast a furtive glance back at Jacoby, his eyes sending a silent message to Jacoby to remain silent and not say anything.

But why hadn’t Ashton come to question him yet? He had been waiting in this interrogation room for a while now.
