At that moment, a throng of protestors had gathered around the school gates. Upon Ashton’s arrival at the entrance, his distinct presence was quickly spotted. “There he is! Isn’t that Ashton?” “Yes, that’s him! We can’t let that bastard slip away!” A group of enraged parents surged forward, encircling Ashton. Yet, upon spotting Ashton, she broke down in tears. “It’s him! He’s the bastard who tried to rape me!” she declared, pointing directly at Ashton.
Ashton’s brow furrowed as he responded, “Miss, are you certain you’ve identified the right person? I don’t know you, and I assure you, I’ve committed no such act.” To the gathered crowd, Ashton’s explanations seemed nothing more than feeble excuses.

Particularly incensed was the girl’s father, who seized a wooden stick and lunged at Ashton, bellowing, “You bastard! You’ve harmed my daughter, and yet you deny it? Today, you will answer for it!”
As the crowd’s fury escalated, Ashton’s demeanor shifted to one of icy resolve. He deftly intercepted the stick and declared forcefully, “Don’t think I can be easily bullied just because you outnumber me. If you insist I’m guilty, prove it with evidence!”
His forceful demand momentarily silenced the crowd, their shock palpable. However, their anger quickly regained its momentum.
The girl’s father, his voice even harsher, retorted, “How dare you remain so defiant after what you did? You’ve only got yourself to blame!” He then turned around, addressing the onlookers. “Someone fetch the school security! It’s time we took this disgrace before the school president to face the consequences!”
