Ashton possessed such skill that, if he chose to, these people stood no chance against him—even if they fought together. Yet, despite his anger, he maintained his composure. He was aware that many of the parents had been swayed into confronting him.
Guided by a throng of irate parents, Ashton offered no resistance as they escorted him to the president’s office. Just as they arrived, the president, Lloyd Martin, was concluding a call with a reporter who had sought an interview regarding the growing scandal. The situation was already a source of concern for him, and the forceful entry of Ashton and the parents into his office only heightened his distress.
With no alternative in sight, given Ashton’s role as a teacher here, addressing the issue was inevitable.
“Mr. Martin, we’ve brought this man here,” declared the girl’s father, seething with anger. “You two must give us a resolution today, or who would trust their children to this school?”
Lloyd, attempting to pacify the crowd, sighed and managed a strained smile. “Please, let’s remain calm while we investigate thoroughly. We promise to provide a resolution that will satisfy everyone.”
Then, turning to Ashton with a chill in his voice, Lloyd remarked, “Mr. Baldwin, you were specifically recruited by Mr. Stewart to teach here. Please consider his reputation and clarify your recent whereabouts honestly.”
Ashton responded in exasperation, “Mr. Martin, I swear, I haven’t even seen this girl, much less interacted with her. She’s making baseless accusations!”
His words only fueled the anger of the parents, who were already on edge. The girl’s father seized Ashton by the collar, his voice thunderous. “You are lower than an animal! What kind of girl would tarnish her own reputation as a joke?”
Other parents quickly joined in, their voices rising in agreement. “Exactly! You’re just trying to avoid your responsibilities!”

The crowd grew more tumultuous, bombarding Ashton with accusations and hostility.
Some even whipped out their phones to broadcast the scene live, vowing to unmask Ashton as the villain he was purported to be. Below the president’s office, a crowd of students had gathered, their attention fixed on the unfolding drama. A few, covertly swayed by Tristan’s bribes, seized the moment to call for Ashton’s expulsion and legal punishment. Even bystanders, oblivious to the actual facts, were caught up in the frenzy, echoing the unfounded charges.
Amid the barrage of accusations, Ashton’s composure remained unwavering. He assessed the situation swiftly and made a realization. Narrowing his eyes, a plan began to form in his mind. Then, he directly confronted the girl, saying, “I’ll give you one chance. Tell the truth. Who put you up to this?” Ashton’s voice, once polite, now carried an undercurrent of menace.
