Morris, with an air of generosity and grace, began to carefully distribute his dish to the diners around him. Even Ashton, who was disliked by Marc, was not excluded. If I handed this restaurant over to you, I’m sure it would live up to its reputation.”
But to everyone’s surprise, Marc laughed out loud and said, “I suddenly changed my mind. You must give the restaurant to Ashton and sign up for this culinary competition with him.”
Malcom looked at Marc in confusion. Marc had been eager to buy the restaurant, and now that Malcom had agreed to sell it, Marc not only turned him down but also gave the opportunity to someone else.

Marc had his doubts about Ashton’s willingness to continue in the culinary challenge after witnessing Morris’ expertise, fearing Ashton would recognize his own shortcomings. However, Ashton’s acceptance prompted Marc to burst out laughing, clearly pleased.
“Perfect! But don’t even think about backing out on the day of the competition. If you do, I’ll make sure the whole world knows and ruin your reputation!”
Stepping out of the restaurant with Morris, Marc left a strong impression as they exited.
Malcom watched them go, then turned to Ashton with a defeated look, his eyes tinged with bitterness.
“I admit defeat. Whether I hand over the restaurant to you directly or through him, it doesn’t change the outcome. Just so you know, the building’s old, but it’s in a prime location, so it won’t come cheap.”
Despite his words, Ashton sensed Malcom’s reluctance to sell. Yet, Ashton didn’t rush to negotiate the takeover of the restaurant.
