Chapter 67:

Sheela’s POV

“What happened?” Luna Vivienne asked, holding me back from running to my room.

“Let go of me. It’s not like you care about me or what happens to me, so why are you asking?” I said, trying to hide my tears from her.

She looked around before walking me to my room. As soon as we got there, she literally pushed me, making me almost stumble.

“You started all of this plan with a different intention, but it’s quite surprising to see you doing something that is very unlike you, and I’m scared about everything—every damn thing.”

“Christian doesn’t love me, and you are slowly abandoning me. Yet, you expect me to be happy like everything is well. I’ve done everything I can to make him be with me, and you’ve been by my side up until now,” I said, wiping the tears that were now flowing.

“Do you really feel I have neglected you?” she asked calmly.

“I don’t feel it—you have actually neglected me, and I no longer exist,” I said matter-of-factly.

I burst into fresh tears when I remembered what I saw earlier. “She even had the guts to hold him intimately before me in the company.”

“Sheela, I haven’t neglected you, and I will never neglect you. I will never watch my son get married to my enemy while I’m still very much alive. That will happen over my dead body.”

“And considering the fact that I’m not ready to die, they will never get married to each other.”

“I’m still on track with the plan. Christian is your man, no matter what. You’ve sacrificed a lot, and this isn’t the time for you to back out. You have to fight hard instead, and get him. Own him. Possess him. He is all yours.”

“Don’t show weakness. Instead, be strong until you get what you want, and that is happening soon. Get ready for the next phase of the plan,” she said, smiling evilly.

“What are we to do next?” I asked curiously.

“Wait until the weekend, but be ready for action,” she said.

Tristan’s POV

Work has been so boring these days, and the pack isn’t helping matters either. The mansion feels unusually silent now, and everything just seems so off.

And all of this is happening because Emily isn’t in the mansion, nor is she at work. I’m sure the Moonlight Pack is enjoying her company now. She’s a bright person who would stand out wherever she goes, and I will always love her for that.

“Take me to the Moonlight Pack,” I said to the driver.

We were heading home, but I really needed to see her. It’s been a while, and I’ve missed her so much. I’m not sure I’ll be able to fall asleep without seeing her, so going there wouldn’t hurt.

“The Moonlight Pack?” the driver asked in surprise.

“Yes. Is there a problem with that?” I asked, trying not to roll my eyes.

“Not at all,” he said, diverting the car.
