Chapter 72
Chapter 72:
Sheela’s POV
I smiled inwardly as Amira agreed to join us for the outing. Everything was going exactly as planned, and I was loving every moment of it.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow. I’m sure the outing will be so much fun, and we’ll all enjoy it. I’m glad you agreed to come,” I said, grinning.
“Of course I have to. Who would refuse to have fun? No one,” she replied.
She actually thinks she can live happily between two men and remain comfortable with that? That will never happen. I will make sure I take back the man who rightfully belongs to me, and I don’t care if she ends up with a beggar.
“I should sleep early so I can prepare for everything. What time are we leaving, by the way?” she asked.
“Around 4 p.m. That way, we can have breakfast and rest well before heading out. You both should get ready to have a good time,” Luna Vivienne said.
“Alright then, see you both tomorrow,” she said, walking out.
I was relieved that our plan would now unfold smoothly, without any interference. I had expected her to be difficult, especially after returning as if she were stronger than everyone else. But it was clear now—she was still the same naive Amira from the past.
I had thought she had changed, but she was still as foolish as ever.
“Are you ready for tomorrow?” Luna Vivienne asked, stepping toward me after ensuring Amira was gone.
“Always ready,” I said confidently. Tomorrow would change my life forever, and it would finally erase the shame I had been trying so hard to conceal.
“Good. I will play my part well and leave the rest to you. Make sure there are no mistakes. I need a clean job, and I expect you to deliver perfectly after all the time you’ve spent here. This is your Chance, and it might be the only chance you get. Use it wisely,” she said with a smile.
“Have it. All you have to do is add it to his drink, and you will have him to yourself,” she said, stretching out a drug to me. “A tablet is enough to make him fall, just one,” she added, trying to take her leave but stopping again.

“Just one tablet, Sheela. It shouldn’t be more than one. It’s very powerful,” she warned before leaving finally.
Finally, I would get to achieve what I wanted, and this was all thanks to Luna Vivienne. I wouldn’t misuse this opportunity. All I needed was an excuse to avoid going with them. Once that was done, I would swing into action.
It was evening now, and I made sure to stay in my room so my lies wouldn’t conflict. I couldn’t afford any suspicions or mistakes.
I stood by the stairs, making sure the people in the seating room couldn’t see me. Amira sat patiently on the chair, fully dressed. Luna Vivienne showed up shortly, grinning like a child—she was a master actress.
“Where’s Sheela?” she asked, looking behind her.
Everyone knew me for always being behind her, but from now on, I would step forward on my own as the new Luna of the Moonlight pack.
“I’m right here,” I said, slowly walking down the stairs with one hand on my belly. My face was set in a frown, and I made sure my makeup looked as pale as possible to appear sick.
