Chapter 73
Chapter 73:
“Are you okay?” Amira asked, looking worried.
“I don’t think I’m fine, actually. My menstrual cramps came unexpectedly, and it hurts like hell,” I said, wincing in pain.
“So sorry about that. Would the outing still be possible? She looks hurt, and I don’t think she would be able to go with us in that state,” Luna Vivienne said.
“If that’s the case, she should stay back at the mansion while we go on with the outing. I kept dreaming about how it would be, and I won’t let anything ruin it,” she continued. “We will set another date for the three of us to go, but for today, we will go as planned while she takes care of herself,” Luna Vivienne said.
“Will you be okay?” she asked, looking worried—or rather pitiful. She must think Luna Vivienne now likes her so much that she wants to forfeit me from going with them.
“I will be fine,” I said.
“Are you sure? I really feel bad about leaving you here all by yourself,” she said.
“You don’t have to. I will feel even worse if the whole plan is ruined because of me. So please, make sure you both have fun and tell me all about the fun things you did when you’re back,” I said, smiling faintly before wincing.
“Alright then, take care of yourself,” she said, picking up her bag.
“Be good,” Luna Vivienne said as she walked out. She briefly turned to me, nodding her head in understanding before leaving with Amira.
Amira’s POV
A ladies’ hangout… I wonder what she has to tell me about herself, and what I have to tell her about my own self.
“So, tell me about you, Amira,” she said, sipping her orange juice. Our first stop was at a restaurant.
“There’s not much to say about me, Luna Vivienne,” I said, sipping my juice as well. “I know nothing about myself. I grew up knowing nothing but pain and suffering, but I’m all good now. You know most of the things about me.”

“I’m curious to know about you, Luna Vivienne,” I added.
“I’ve always admired you ever since I was a maid at the pack. You’re a strong woman who shows no sign of weakness in anything, and you’re always willing to do things even men won’t do.”
“One other thing I admire about you is the way you do things without anyone noticing, but you always have everything under control. I really want to know about you, I’m going to learn a lot from your story.”
“I hope you don’t mind telling me,” I said, looking curious.
“You really want to know about me?” she asked, leaning back in her chair with a look I couldn’t really explain.
“Yes, I want to. Who are you, Luna Vivienne?”
