"I can settle things with a single call even if they're killed. Remember, there's no need to worry about anything when you're working with me."

Dylan nodded and said, "Got it. If I encounter something like this again, I'll know what to do."

Lorenzo grunted in acknowledgment. "Set up the tables and chairs and start grinding the coffee beans. Having a cup of coffee by the river doesn't sound bad."

Dylan waved his hand. A few people emerged from the third car and began carrying tools down. There was a small frying pan, a small can of liquefied gas, a foldable table and chair, and equipment for grinding coffee beans.

After a moment of work, they began roasting the coffee beans.

Lorenzo sat on a recliner and narrowed his eyes as he watched the flowing waters of Delisnora Bay while Cameron ordered some of his subordinates about and occasionally glanced at Lorenzo.

He couldn't help but sigh. They were the same, yet life treated them so differently.

Lorenzo was also Leopold's grandson by blood. He himself was also Leopold's grandson. They had the same blood running through them. Cameron even thought he was more intelligent than Lorenzo.

Yet, Lorenzo was the successor to the Connolly family.

Because of that, Lorenzo acted high and mighty, doing whatever he pleased. He treated Cameron and Dylan like mere servants.

Nevertheless, Cameron didn't even dare to utter a word of protest. Lorenzo, however, was sitting in his recliner and waiting to have roasted coffee beans, freshly ground for him on the spot.

The two were of different worlds. Right now, the only thing on his mind was that intelligence and wits meant nothing. Having a good background was all that mattered.

Lorenzo only reached his current position because he was born into the Connolly family, a family of cultivators.

A rage toward the cultivators boiled up within him suddenly.

The waters of the river flowed past as the gentle breeze blew past. The sun set slowly, and the fragrant but bitter aroma of coffee wafted into the air.

Lorenzo stirred his coffee with a small spoon. He seemed to enjoy this process very much.

Satisfied, he took a sip of coffee and held it in his mouth for a while. He thoroughly enjoyed the bitter taste and fragrance within his mouth. After a while, he swallowed slowly.

Lorenzo took a look at his phone before furrowing his brow.

"The coffee's already done. Why hasn't Grant come here yet? Cameron, what on earth are you doing?"

Cameron took out his phone and said, "I'll ask again and see where Matthew is now."

This time, he didn't contact the person from the Fuller family that was in charge of Lambda City. He used his backup phone and messaged Matthew directly.

"Grant, are you here yet?"

Just then, Matthew was still playing rock-paper-scissors with Lorraine Upon seeing this message he replied with a few words, Almost there. Stuck in a traffic jam here. I'll be there soon."

Seeing her father take out his phone, Lorraine chuckled and said, "Dad, you shouldn't play with your phone! It's not good for your eyes."

Matthew pretended to keep his phone away. "You're right, sweetie. I'm done with my phone."

Lorraine hid her first behind her back. "When I say 'Rock, paper, scissors', we'll both go. No cheating!"

Matthew answered, "Alright. You begin."

Right then, a smile crept across his face. He didn't know what sort of trap they had set for him at Delisnora Bay.

He didn't want to know. He felt like this was just a waiting game. They were waiting for him to make a move. He was being hunted. So he wouldn't make any move would let them wait.

Cameron received the reply and said to Lorenzo, "Mr. Connolly, Grant said that he's

in a traffic jam. He's on his way right now."

Right now? Lorenzo nodded his

head. That meant that he would be

here very soon. He took another sip

of coffee and said calmly, "Got it. Let m live for a little longer We can keep waiting."
