Josefina passed along Cash's original message, and Oliver, with a resigned sigh, explained, "Sydney's been spreading lies about me, and I've been too lazy to bother. Looks like that's going to have to change now."

Misunderstandings had never really phased Oliver.

But now, he couldn't just brush them off.

"I've got to start taking this seriously. Can't let people think the wrong thing. Your mentor knows, which means your master knows too. Josie, you have to help me set the record straight. Can't have them thinking your fiancé's a bully."

Oliver grabbed his phone and started typing a message to George, asking him to handle the situation.

This needed sorting out, fast. His reputation was on the line.

Seeing Oliver frantically typing, Josefina couldn't help but grin. "Finally worried, huh?"

"I have to be. I'm scared they'll oppose us being together."

Josefina chuckled, a hint of helplessness in her voice. "Alright, you keep at it. I'm going to take a shower."

Oliver kept his focus on his phone, dealing with the issue.

When Sydney heard that Oliver was starting to fix his public image, she panicked.

Some of the stories were made up, others were just misleading.

But the feud between Oliver and Rowan was all too real.

Sydney was beside herself. "Damn Oliver. He never cared about his image before, but now, because of Josefina, he does."

Listening to Sydney, Shay felt her mood darken. She was irritated.

"Ever since Josefina came around, our plans keep falling apart," Shay lamented, looking defeated.

Sydney advised, "When we meet your master, make sure to act a bit downcast. Make her sympathize with you."

They headed straight for Jane's room.

When they entered, they found Jane packing her bags.

Sydney and Shay were shocked, unable to believe Jane was actually leaving.

"Master, why are you packing? Aren't you staying a bit longer?"

Sydney added, "Ms. Jane, I just got us a dinner reservation, was about to bring you along."

"Eat, eat, eat, that's all you two think about!"

Sydney & Shay: "..."

If not dinner, what excuse could they use?

Trying to smooth things over, Sydney said, "Ms. Jane, you haven't had dinner, yet. I was worried you'd be hungry, so I made reservations."

Shay chimed in, "Master, skipping dinner might leave you hungry later."

"After all the embarrassment today, who feels like eating?" Jane's mood was especially heavy.

Sydney and Shay sat down next to Jane.

Sydney said earnestly, "Ms. Jane, you can't let someone like Cash get to you. He's uncouth; don't lower yourself to his level."

Shay added, "Master, with Cash and Josefina teaming up, are you just going to let it slide?"

"What bright ideas do you have? You

can't handle Josefina so how do

you plan to take on Cash? Jäne shot Sydney a look and continued, "Come on, tell me, what's your plan?"
