Chapter 310
Chapter 310:
The boy offered no reply, only a hearty laugh as he ripped open another bag and began flinging chips with the precision of a pitcher on game day.
Fernanda stepped in, attempting to halt his rampage, but soon found herself caught in the chaos, dodging flying chips.
With a sigh of exasperation, she strode toward the boy.
Unfazed, the boy retreated a few steps, his grin defiant as he continued his assault. When the chips ran out, his tiny hands grabbed stones, which he hurled without hesitation.
Realizing Bobby was struggling, Fernanda shifted her focus, kneeling to examine his reddened, watery eyes.
It was true that his eyes were inflamed and difficult to open because of the chip crumbs.
“I’ll rinse them with water,” she said urgently.
Bobby nodded, rubbing his eyes in frustration as tears mingled with chip crumbs.
“What’s going on?” Wendy asked, noticing something was wrong when she was playing cards nearby.
“What happened?” she asked, her tone icy and her gaze sharp as she took in Bobby’s red eyes.
“A boy attacked us,” Fernanda replied while carefully washing Bobby’s eyes.
“His eyes were filled with crumbs.”
“Was it that kid in denim overalls?” Wendy asked, her voice laced with suspicion.
“Yes.”
Earlier, Wendy had noticed the child loitering around, his adorable face a mask for the chaos within. Who would have guessed that such an angelic appearance hid the spirit of a gremlin?
Wendy scanned the area, her eyes searching intently. She was furious and determined to confront the little troublemaker. She spotted him near the garden hedge and marched over without hesitation. Meanwhile, Fernanda had finished rinsing the crumbs from Bobby’s irritated eyes.

“How is it now?” she asked softly.
Bobby blinked a few times before finally managing to open his eyes. The water had left his face and shirt damp, making him look disheveled.
“It’s better,” he said, though his irritation was clear. Rubbing his eyes again, he added with a growl, “Where’s that kid? He’s getting a lesson he won’t forget!”
Fernanda frowned, sharing his frustration. It was just chips this time, but what if it had been something dangerous? The boy’s antics could have caused serious harm.
Suddenly, loud noises erupted. Turning toward the noise, Fernanda saw Wendy dragging the boy by his overalls straps and making her way toward them. The boy obviously didn’t want to come, but Wendy held onto his overall straps, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t break free.
“Apologize!” Wendy demanded icily, setting the troublemaker in front of Bobby.
The boy dropped his gaze, his face sullen, and stayed silent.
