Chapter 774
Chapter 774:
Fernanda soon returned to her dorm. As she scrolled through her social media, she saw a post from Curran, made just ten minutes earlier: “Looking for a prince for our princess. Eligible men between the ages of twenty and thirty are welcome to send their introductions to my email, and those who pass the initial screening will be notified.”
The post resembled more of a job advertisement.
Fernanda was flabbergasted upon seeing this.
Was this meant to find her a partner or recruit for the Reed Group?
Also, Curran was acting way too fast.
Fernanda rubbed her temples as the onset of an oncoming headache began. She wondered whether it might be best to tell Curran about her relationship with Cristian.
However, she quickly decided that was a bad idea.
Curran had hated Cristian for over twenty years. It would be asking the impossible to get Curran to change just because she was with Cristian. It might cause her a lot of trouble if Curran ended up hating her too. After all, he had been a really good benefactor to Fernanda, and she couldn’t risk losing him.
She decided it would be best to wait for a better opportunity to reveal her relationship with Cristian to Curran.
Time passed quickly, and soon the day of Bonita’s birthday arrived. The birthday dinner was held at a restaurant. It was a small gathering consisting of Fernanda, her employees from the studio, and Beckett, who Bonita had invited.
For the past few days, Bonita had been especially friendly toward Beckett, leading him to think she had changed her mind about him. This put him in an excellent mood.
However, Beckett was caught off guard when he saw Neal in the private room.
His face immediately darkened, and he turned to Bonita and asked, “Why is he here? Did you invite him?”
“I didn’t explicitly invite him. I invited a few friends from the studio, and since he’s from the studio, he came along,” Bonita calmly answered.

Beckett snorted, glanced at Neal, then took his seat beside Bonita.
In a bid to show off to Neal, Beckett grew quite affectionate with Bonita.
He would hold her hand one moment and then kiss her cheek the next, completely disregarding the people around them.
“Can you stop doing that? There are too many people here,” Bonita whispered as she pushed Beckett away.
Beckett burst into laughter upon hearing this. “You’re still as shy as when we were kids. I love seeing you like this. Do you remember that one time during dinner when we shared a kiss under the table…”
Bonita slammed her fork on the plate and angrily said, “Can you please stop talking!”
The past that felt like a nightmare to her was a joke to him, as he could bring it up in public without caring who else was around.
“Alright, I won’t talk about it if you don’t want me to,” Beckett said grudgingly. He then smiled and whispered into Bonita’s ear, “Tonight, I’ll give you a special birthday present that you’ll always remember.” He ended his words by gently nibbling on Bonita’s ear.
