Chapter 801
Chapter 801:
This approach was deemed necessary for atypical cases like Beckett’s, where there was a risk of feigned symptoms, thus prolonging the evaluation process.
The findings confirmed that Beckett suffered from severe bipolar disorder, complicated by pathological aggression.
Fernanda and Neal attended the session to hear these results. During the consultation, Nettie’s despair turned to fury. She doubted the authenticity of the results, denouncing the staff’s integrity.
However, the staff’s credentials and methods were solid.
Nettie protested loudly to no avail, and could only watch as her son was escorted into the hospital, the iron gates shutting firmly behind him.
Before his confinement, Beckett continued to hurl insults and attempted to lunge at Neal and Fernanda, though his efforts were futile.
Watching Beckett’s meltdown, Neal couldn’t help but chuckle.
Secretly, he found the turn of events oddly satisfying.
Nettie struck Neal, her heel sharply impacting his shin. “My son is suffering because of you. This is all your fault.”
Fernanda quickly intervened, positioning herself as a protective shield around Neal.
Tears streamed down Nettie’s face as she appeared completely unhinged.
Fernanda responded coldly, “The consequences of your son’s behavior are not our doing. If you had focused on his treatment, you might have avoided these outcomes.”
“Stop talking! You’re the cause of all this!” Nettie screamed, jabbing a finger toward Fernanda, her voice rising. “You’ll regret this!”
Fernanda dismissed Nettie with a shake of her head, convinced she was beyond reason.
Turning sharply, she led Neal away from the escalating situation.

Meanwhile, Bonita remained seated in the car, choosing not to join the tumult. Aware her parents were nearby, she preferred to avoid an uncomfortable encounter.
As Fernanda and Neal approached, Bonita asked anxiously, “What happened?”
“Beckett’s secured and won’t be released anytime soon. You can relax,” Fernanda assured her.
Bonita let out a deep breath of relief. Whatever the future had in store, at this moment, things had turned out as well as they possibly could. Meanwhile, Myron had stealthily recorded Nettie’s outburst on his phone.
That night, he presented the incriminating evidence to a contact in the Reed family, explaining, “Beckett’s parents are upset about their son’s imprisonment. They’re attacking everyone involved, including Miss Morgan and her friend.”
His contact had earlier expressed interest in any missteps by Jett and Nettie, prompting Myron to hold onto this valuable piece of evidence. He couldn’t be sure if it was the Reed family from Litdence stirring up trouble for Jett.
But when had Jett ever crossed paths with the Reeds, let alone offended them without even realizing it?
The voice on the other end said, “I see. Good job. I’ll send you an email address. Forward the recording there.” Myron complied without hesitation.
