Chapter 936
Chapter 936:
“Make sure she doesn’t find out,” Erika said anxiously.
Michelle urged Erika to stay in her room and not come out.
Once Michelle left, Erika sat down on the bed, excitement building inside her. The plan was about to unfold. If it succeeded, Fernanda’s image would be tarnished, and she would be disgraced. Erika could almost see the look of humiliation on Fernanda’s face. Everyone would turn against her, her boyfriend would dump her, and her future would be ruined.
Erika’s heart raced with anticipation.
She peeked out of her room but couldn’t hear anything. Then she walked over to the window and looked outside. She could see two cars parked some distance away. She wasn’t sure which one belonged to Fulton Griffin, but she knew he would be arriving soon.
Meanwhile, Michelle went downstairs and found Fernanda eating a peach and playing with her phone. Michelle poured Fernanda a cup of coffee.
Almost immediately, a loud noise came from the glass, as though something heavy had struck it. Startled, Michelle rushed over to check, but found nothing.
By the time she turned back, Fernanda had finished her cup of coffee.
“This is good coffee. It smells really nice,” Fernanda said, setting the cup down.
“I’m glad you like it,” Michelle answered with a smile.
Fernanda nodded, then leaned back on the sofa. She buried her face in her hand as she began to look drowsy.
She could hear Michelle speaking to her. At first, she replied with a word or two, but soon she stopped responding altogether.
Michelle walked over to her and gently shook her, but Fernanda didn’t move. She even tried tickling her, but got no reaction.

“Robert!” Michelle called out.
Robert immediately came over. “Is she asleep?” he whispered.
Michelle nodded. “I’ll call Mr. Griffin now.”
She made a call, and after a brief conversation, hung up the phone. Within seconds, there was a knock at the door.
“Where is she?” the man asked immediately when the door opened.
“She’s here,” Michelle answered.
The man walked straight to the sofa and picked up Fernanda. As he carried her out, Robert said, “The thing we discussed earlier, Mr. Griffin…”
“Don’t worry, you’ll get everything you deserve. You’re using your daughter as a bargaining chip for a company. You’re the ones gaining from this,” the man replied, not turning back.
Robert nodded.
