Chapter 201
Chapter 201:
“It’s just a woman. Not worth our concern. I’m more interested in what this guy intends to discuss. Two of you, stay by the door and keep everyone out.”
Obeying Roger’s command, two men moved outside, dispersing the nearby workers.
Clearing the room, Roger played with his butterfly knife, approaching Ashton with a sneer.
“Trying to save face? Afraid of looking foolish in front of a woman? Sending her away so you can kneel and plead for mercy, right?”
Ashton remained unfazed, his smile unwavering. “I was afraid I might be too cruel with you and scare Rosalie. Why don’t you repeat what you’ll do if we refuse to pay the fee?”
Roger was taken aback by Ashton’s defiance. Clearly, Ashton was not intimidated.
Roger’s eyes narrowed with malice as he abruptly ceased playing with the knife and lunged at Ashton with ferocity.
“You’ll see!” he spat.
Yet, Roger’s attack was swiftly thwarted.
Ashton moved with lightning reflexes, seizing the butterfly knife with ease.
Without a hint of hesitation, Ashton snapped the knife, breaking it into shards as if it were a mere toy.
Roger and his subordinates stood in stunned silence.
The butterfly knife, renowned for its high-quality steel capable of slicing through metal doors, had been destroyed effortlessly by Ashton’s bare hands.
Was he human?

Ashton’s actions were relentless. Before Roger could react, Ashton launched the shards of the broken blade directly at him.
The fragments, sharp and propelled with deadly precision, embedded themselves in Roger’s thigh. Roger’s scream of agony pierced the air, echoing through the office and sending chills down everyone’s spines. In that moment, Roger’s subordinates realized just how formidable Ashton was.
Yet, considering Roger’s high status, they felt compelled to rush at Ashton.
Lacking the motivation to fight effectively due to Roger’s severe injury, they were no match for Ashton’s skill. Within a minute, Ashton stood alone, the only victor.
Disappointment flickered across Ashton’s face. He had expected a more challenging fight, but instead, he had faced nothing more than a group of inept thugs.
Gazing down at Roger, who writhed in pain on the floor, Ashton smirked.
“Since you seem to enjoy playing with that butterfly knife of yours, you must cherish it, right? And you mentioned playing games with our workers, didn’t you? How about a game of our own? I’ll give you three minutes to reassemble your knife. If you succeed, I’ll let you go. But if you fail, the consequences will be much worse.”
Suffering from intense pain, Roger was drenched in sweat.
He pleaded, “I admit I was wrong. Can we skip the games? There are still two shards lodged in my leg. How am I supposed to reassemble it?”
