Chapter 441
Chapter 441:
Meanwhile, Carlotta, who had positioned herself at the back to observe the unfolding events, laughed quietly at their naivety. Her laughter, though soft, drew the attention of Nolan’s followers.
The group’s leader scoffed and mocked her. “Laughing, are you? You couldn’t secure a job offer, and now all you can do is watch us join Mr. Perez’s team!”
With heads held high, they marched into the interview room alongside Edwin. Their confidence turned to shock as they entered the room to find Ashton waiting—the very person they had ridiculed and belittled!
Ashton looked at their astonished expressions and mocked, “What a pleasure. Seems you haven’t forgotten me.”
The group was startled, one of them exclaiming, “What are you doing here?”
Edwin stepped forward and introduced, “Meet Mr. Baldwin, our branch’s general manager. He asked me to bring you in.”
Ashton then declared, “I’ve called you here to let you know that you are all permanently banned from our company. You are unwelcome here, indefinitely. I opted to tell you collectively to save time during our interviews. You may leave now.”
Realizing why Nolan had abruptly departed, the group understood they had unknowingly insulted the company’s general manager. Overwhelmed with shame and anger, they were swiftly ushered out by Edwin’s team before they could respond. Their expulsion, witnessed by many onlookers, was profoundly humiliating.
The onlookers couldn’t help but laugh at their disgraced faces.
Trying to salvage some dignity, the leader of the group sneered, “Who even cares about this dreadful job? We’ll find employment elsewhere!”

“That’s true! Didn’t Sup Group announce they’re hiring? Let’s head there. They offer a ten thousand a month starting salary. Can this pathetic company even compete with that?”
As they were talking, Ashton emerged behind them. Ignoring them completely, Ashton addressed the crowd. “Thank you for coming today. Many have inquired about our salaries and benefits, which I’ll clarify now. Although we’re not officially open yet, as part of Skyline Group committed to the Staville market, we aim to recruit top talent. Our objective is to employ the best, and they deserve higher pay. I’m thrilled to announce that those joining us today will receive a salary 50% above the industry standard. Thank you for your support!”
Upon hearing this announcement, cheers erupted from the crowd, their spirits soaring.
Meanwhile, Nolan’s followers, filled with remorse, lamented their missed opportunity. If only they hadn’t been so arrogant and offended Ashton, they might have secured a job themselves.
The high salary offered by Ashton was so tempting that the positions in the new company were filled within three days. Thanks to his assistance, the company was successfully set up, allowing Abrial and Rosalie to fully devote themselves to their work.
After resolving the initial challenges in opening the company, Ashton didn’t intend to get involved in its day-to-day management. After all, he was unfamiliar with running a company.
