Chapter 603:

Rosalie couldn’t help smiling softly. “Okay, I get it. You should be careful too. If you need my help, let me know. I’ll do my best to help you.”

The two exchanged a few sweet nothings before they reluctantly ended the call because Rosalie had a meeting to attend.

Ashton put away his phone and continued bathing in the hot spring pool.

The peace and solitude were indeed relaxing. Before he knew it, he had already dozed off.

But soon, Ashton’s eyes snapped open, his senses immediately becoming alert as a strange sensation crept over him. Didn’t Abrial say she would only take a shower? It had been so long. Why hadn’t she returned to call him yet?

Ashton was a little puzzled. He left the hot spring pool and went to the shower room.

He stood outside the door for a while, hesitating. If he barged in and found Abrial still taking a shower, it would be too embarrassing.

But Ashton suddenly realized there was no sound of running water coming from the shower room. So, he decided to check inside.

Sure enough, when he pushed the door open, Abrial was not there.

Ashton checked every cubicle, but there was truly no sign of Abrial. He looked around and saw the sexy bikini she had worn just now hanging on the wall hook.

From the looks of things, Abrial had already taken a shower, changed clothes, and left, forgetting her bikini behind.

Perhaps she was hungry, so after getting dressed, she went to the restaurant to grab a bite.

Ashton wasn’t entirely sure, but he thought it made sense. He couldn’t help but mutter to himself, “How can she leave without informing me? Could she be too shy to face me after what happened just now? But it seems out of character for Abrial to be shy and avoid me. What could have really happened?”

Ashton stood for a moment, his mind still buzzing with questions. But he slowly calmed down, telling himself not to be overly concerned. After all, besides the two of them, there were only a handful of staff members, and he couldn’t imagine anyone at the resort causing her harm.

With this thought in mind, Ashton returned to the shower room and took a quick shower.

This helped cool down his body temperature significantly. Then, his mind became clearer. It was only then that he felt something was amiss.

No matter how much Abrial was in a hurry, she would never leave her swimsuit behind, right?

After getting dressed and taking a moment to compose himself, Ashton quickly exited the hot spring area, intending to find Abrial and ask if something urgent had come up.

However, he had already circled the entire resort but still couldn’t find her.

Abrial was not in her room. She wasn’t in the lounge, either. Ashton went to the restaurant, but there was also no sign of her. It was as if she had vanished into thin air.
