As she saw Ashton preparing to administer first aid, Kari stepped forward, grasping Abrial’s hand. “Abrial,” she whispered urgently, “you should stop Ashton. He’s acting too hastily. If something happens to your grandfather, even I won’t be able to protect you both.”

Don’t let their pressure force you into a rushed decision. If anything goes wrong, the Carter family will blame us.”

With Abrial’s confidence in him, Ashton nodded and instructed everyone to step back.

He gently laid Levi flat on the floor, and then swiftly pulled out a set of silver needles. With practiced precision, he inserted three needles into specific acupoints. Levi, still unconscious, let out a faint groan, his face contorting in discomfort.
