Chapter 729

Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess · Dana E.

Sydney wrinkled her nose at the foul smell, and with a horrified gasp, she found herself drenched in filth from head to toe.

Sydney: "!!!"

"Help! Someone get me cleaned up! Who's the jerk that did this! Ah! Ahhh!"

Sydney's screams were piercing, and she was nearly at her breaking point. She yelled so loudly that the servants came running, only to halt in their tracks at the sight of her, covered in muck, not daring to come any closer.

And it wasn't just Sydney; the whole area around her was a disaster zone, the stench making the servants gag uncontrollably. Sydney herself was retching, completely losing her composure.

Luke sent the surveillance footage to Josefina. "Boss, check this out. Sydney's in a real mess. Even if she showers for hours, I doubt she'll get rid of that stench."

Livia couldn't help but light up at the sight. "Luke, nice job!"

Luke grinned. "I was worried Dominic would track us down with drones. After the drone dumped the waste, it crashed nearby and self-destructed."

With the drone destroyed, Dominic would have no evidence to find.

"I scouted the place and got so excited when I found Sydney alone in the garden," Luke continued.

Josefina sat down and put her phone aside, unable to watch the distasteful scene any longer.

"Boss, next time let's just poison her, get rid of Sydney for good. She's such a pain, always bouncing around," Luke suggested earnestly. He knew, however, that he needed Josefina's approval for such actions.

Josefina looked at him in shock, grabbing his arm. "Why didn't you use poison?"

Luke was taken aback. The boss approved?!

Livia chimed in, "I thought you were against it, Josie. Turns out you didn't even ask?"

Scratching his head, Luke admitted, "You told me to just mess with Sydney and her family. After scouting, I saw she was alone in the garden. I had all this disgusting stuff prepared, so I just went for it... I thought you didn't want Sydney dead. If she dies, we lose a lot of leads."

Patting his arm, Josefina said, "Next time, just do it. You don't need my permission."

Luke was filled with regret. "Boss, if there's a next time, I'll make sure Sydney doesn't survive."

Livia patted his shoulder. "Luke, I believe in you. Keep it up!"

Luke, slightly embarrassed, touched his head, feeling oddly pleased with himself.

...

Sydney had showered countless times, yet she could still smell the stench clinging to her.

She asked a servant, "Do I smell bad to you?"

The servant, trembling with fear, forced a

ma Smile and said, "Not at all,

makam. You don't smell at all

Sydney's expression darkened. "What did you say? I don't smell? Are you sure you're being honest?"

The servant nodded quickly. "Yes, truly."

Sydney slapped her. "I only keep those who tell the truth around me!"

Too scared to touch her face, the servant finally confessed, "Ma'am, there is a bit of an odor."

Sydney slapped her again. "Get out!"

The servant was dumbfounded, caught between a rock and a hard place-saying she smelled was wrong saying she didn't was also wrong. What was she supposed to do? With her head down, the servant walked out.

When Dominic and Shay entered, Shay pinched her nose, and Dominic frowned.

"What happened, mom?" Dominic asked.

Shay stopped in her tracks, not wanting to get any closer; the smell was unbearable.

As Sydney recounted the event, Dominic and Shay could almost visualize the

scene.

Yuck...

Shay couldn't help it and gagged at the thought. Sydney's face turned a shade of deep embarrassment trapped in an utterly awkward situation.
